Theater Readiness Monitoring Directorate
We are a group of (DoD) civilian employees working in partnership with contractors committed to providing the US Army and its allies the finest quality missile systems available in the world. We are headquartered in South Central Pennsylvania at Letterkenny Army Depot with facilities throughout the world. We use the latest automated test equipment to perform flight simulated reliability testing on HAWK, PATRIOT and other missile systems. We use the latest electronic technology such as on-line documentation, automated data transfers, and "paperless" systems to track critical assets throughout the lifetime of the systems.
Theater Readiness Monitoring Directorate has excelled since 1972 in its missions of providing worldwide technical expertise and world class quality products. We are ardently motivated to provide our soldiers with the finest products available and the need to stay competitive in the rapidly changing competitive government infrastructure. Our soldiers deserve the best we have to offer in every endeavor we undertake. Provide policy, guidance, and technical expertise in missile management. Prepare modified process plans and technical directions. Maintain an inventory of missile parts, tools and equipment to support HAWK and PATRIOT workloads. Prepare analysis of supply performance, identify deficient areas and improvements required, and coordinate with IMMC. Manage and plan special flyaway projects at CONUS and OCONUS locations. Provide Automated Data Processing (ADP) hardware and software support for HAWK and PATRIOT CONUS and OCONUS Divisions. Present HAWK and PATRIOT production performance briefings to Command elements. Conduct procedural analysis/studies to assure timely integration of changing logistics concepts. Develop, analyze, and staff functional models and manpower studies. Provide verbal and written cost estimates as requested by US and FMS customers relating to new workloads, special projects, and integration of new missile systems. Perform evaluation, planning, development, and implementation of new missile systems and growth of current missile systems within the Directorate. Serve as Directorate POC hosting workgroup actions/issues and attending working group and conference policy meetings internal and external to the Directorate and Letterkenny Army Depot.
The Operations Division evaluates degradation in missile readiness due to handling, aging, and environment. Tests missiles from sample lots to factory specifications utilizing computer controlled test equipment. Evaluates missile readiness from computer test results then compiles and uses the data in a comprehensive trend analysis program within a data bank to provide an instantaneous readiness assessment and to indicate possible future trouble areas. Randomly samples new lot buys in compliance with new equipment warranty program. Repairs field return missiles to factory specifications. Also, installs modifications to upgrade the missile inventory to the latest configuration and performs on-site technical assistance to customers and military units worldwide. Maintains test equipment required to perform the PATRIOT mission.

The Theater Readiness Monitoring Facility (TRMF) evaluates degradation in HAWK missile readiness due to handling, aging, and environment. Tests missiles from sample lots to factory specifications utilizing computer controlled test equipment, then evaluates missile readiness from computer test results. Randomly samples new lot buys in compliance with new equipment warranty program. Repairs field return missiles to factory specifications. Installs modifications to upgrade the missile inventory to the latest configuration and maintains test equipment required to perform the HAWK mission. Additionally the TRMF performs on-site technical assistance to customers and military units worldwide.
