Hunt of a Lifetime

The Hunt of a Lifetime program is a non-profit organization with the mission of granting hunting and fishing dreams to children, 21 and under, who have been diagnosed with life threatening illnesses. Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) supports and orchestrates memorable hunting experiences for participants in the program during the annual LEAD Hunt of a Lifetime. Since 2007, LEAD has held 34 hunts for 40 children harvesting 39 deer and 1 coyote.

The LEAD Wounded Warrior hunt is organized by the Directorate of Public Works in coordination with Letterkenny Munitions Center. Volunteers for the hunt help ensure that hunters have a safe and successful experience.
