Biography
 

Todd E. Black is the Deputy to the Commander at Letterkenny Army Depot; he has been serving in this position since November 2021.
 
Previous to this position, Black served as the depot’s Chief of Staff from May 2020 through November 2021. Since beginning his employment with Letterkenny Army Depot in February 2001, he served in a variety of capacities including: director, Theater Readiness Monitoring Directorate; director, Product Assurance Directorate; deputy director, Industrial Operations Directorate; operations NCOIC, Directorate of Industrial Operations; chief, MRAP Division; logistics management specialist, MRAP Division; driver examiner, Directorate of Public Works; and wheeled vehicle operator, Directorate of Public Works.
 
Black served in the United States Army and the United States Army Reserves in various locations from November 1985 to July 2014.
 
Black is a graduate of Columbia Southern University where he received a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. He is also a graduate of the Army Civilian Education System Advanced Course and the First Sergeant Course.
 
Awards and decorations include: the Meritorious Service Medal (2nd) Award, the Army Commendation Medal (3rd) Award, the Civilian Service Commendation Medal (3rd) Award, the Army Achievement Medal (4th) Award, the Army Good Conduct Medal (2nd) Award and the National Defense Service Medal (2nd) Award.


Black is married with four children and resides in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. His hobbies include camping, hunting, riding motorcycles, sporting events, family events and volunteering at church.
