Letterkenny Army Depot celebrates Armed Forces Day 2024

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

  • 11:00 a.m - Opening Ceremony at the James Finley House, the historic LEAD Commander’s Quarters 

    Event program available here

  • 11:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m - Armed Forces Day Celebration to include exhibits reenactors, bus tours of the depot and more. 

  • 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Historic Letterkenny Chapel & Franklin County Veterans and 9/11 Memorial Park – Open to the public 

DEPOT BUS TOUR SCHEDULE

  • Tour 1 – 11:15 a.m. 

  • Tour 2  - 12:15 p.m. 

  • Tour 3 – 1:15 p.m. 

Due to limited capacity, persons interested in bus tours are encouraged to pre-register. To do so, please click below for your preferred tour time.

Note: Each participant will need to register. Infants or children under 5 years of age can ride on the lap of an adult without registration. Directions to the James Finley House, the historic Letterkenny Army Depot Commander’s Quarters

From I-81 Exit 20, take PA 997 north. After crossing US 11 (~ 3 miles from 81), you will be on Route 997. 

1. Approach the 5-way intersection and take the divided street to your front right (Coffey Ave). 

2. Proceed on Coffey Avenue, until you reach the next traffic light at Advantage Avenue (you will see the main gate on your right).  

3. Continue straight on Coffey Avenue until you approach the James Finley House on your right.  

4. Special event signage will direct participants to the event.  
 

No Pets allowed except for ADA service animals. Federal law prohibits the possession of firearms or other dangerous weapons in federal facilities, please plan accordingly.
